(27 Jan 2011, 11:37) | Goaltender Evgeni Nabokov, who started the season with the team of SKA St. Petersborough in KHL, signed a one-year deal with NHL team Detroit Red Wings. But according to valid NHL rule the Red Wings organization had to put Nabokov, as the player comming from a professional hockey league outside NHL, on the waivers list. It means that any other NHL team could pick up this player to it's roster without any compensation.
