Six games in the European Trophy were played yesterday, five of them on Finnish soil. But it was no great day for the Finnish teams. The only team that got away with a win was TPS who beat Frölunda 3-2 in a shootout game. Tappara lost to Färjestad, Jokerit to Djurgården, Kärpät to Mountfield and KalPa to Plzen.

One game was played in Innsbruck, Austria where Adler Mannheim beat Pardubice 1-0. Denis Reul scored the goal in the first period. Pardubice outshot Mannheim 42-13 but the German goalie Felix Brückmann had a great night in the net. This was Mannheim's third win in as many games.

Djurgården has won four games out of four. Jokerit were beaten 4-1 yesterday after Swedish goals by Kyle Klubertanz, Mario Kempe, Marcus Nilson and Kristofer Ottosson. Nilson also had two assists.

Tomas Vlasak scored three goals when Plzen beat KalPa 4-0 in Kuopion Jäähalli.

European Trophy continues today with the games Jokerit-Frölunda, Eisbären-Slovan, Kärpät-Färjestad, HIFK-Djurgården and Salzburg-Brno.
