Färjestad Karlstad – Sparta Prague 4 - 2

Sparta Prague, trailing by four goals on aggregate after a 6–2 loss in the first leg, began aggressively, creating fast-paced, end-to-end hockey. However, Färjestad absorbed the pressure and struck first during a power play at 15:30. Joel Kellman fired a precise shot into the top corner, giving the home team a 1–0 lead. Sparta responded quickly with Michal Řepík capitalizing on a rebound for a 1–1 equalizer at 17:08, keeping the game tightly contested.

Färjestad started strong, with captain Magnus Nygren blasting a power-play goal just 1:34 into the period to restore their lead. Minutes later, Viktor Lodin's hustle created an opportunity for Michael Lindqvist, who slotted the puck through Jakub Kovář's pads for a 3–1 lead. Despite two consecutive penalties against Färjestad, they held strong, with goalie Maxime Lagacé making critical saves. Sparta Prague managed a late-period goal when Michal Moravčík pounced on a rebound to close the gap to 3–2 at 39:13.

With a commanding aggregate lead, Färjestad played a defensively disciplined third period, keeping Sparta Prague to the perimeter. Marian Studenič sealed the win at 47:22, scoring from close range to make it 4–2. Sparta’s frustrations were evident as they took back-to-back penalties, but Färjestad couldn’t convert on the resulting 5-on-3 power play. The remainder of the game was a formality as Färjestad confidently advanced to the CHL Final.

Färjestad’s dominant 10–4 aggregate win secures their place in the Champions Hockey League Final, where they will face the Swiss powerhouse Zürich. With their strong team effort and consistent performances, Färjestad looks poised to compete for the title.
