Canada will play Czech Republic in Semi Finals

With only .2 of a second left on the clock the game was tied. After a lengthy video review comfirmed the goal, 10-minute overtime of 3-on-3 hockey were played. The Swiss had led the entire third period, but with timewinding down and Matt Murray on the bench, a  Damon SEVERSON point shot squeezed under the arm of Leonardo Genoni and rolled over the goal line.

Switzerland got the only power play of the period, late, and it proved fruitful. Jared McCann protested his interference call, but when he was in the box Sven ANDRIGHETTO fired a long screen shot that beat Murray cleanly at 18:06 and it was 1-0 at the break.

Into the second and Canada tied the game up  when a  point shot was nicely redirected in front by STONE.

Marchessault, who didn't have his best game took a penalty, and as time wound down Mathieu Joseph had a chance to ice the puck in the centre ice but instead tried to make an extra move and rush  and gave the Swiss some momentum.

Then up stepped STONE hallway through overtime as he shot past Genoni after a feed from Dubois.
