After four games at the 2019 World Championship Switzerland has four wins
After victories against Italy (9-0), Latvia (3-1) and Austria (4-0) Switzerland beat Norway 4-1 today in Bratislava to keep the perfect record at the World Championship. Andres Ambühl was the leading power today with two goals. He opened the scoring in the sixth minute and made it 4-0 four minutes before the end. Nico Hischier scored 2-0 in the opening of period two with a beautiful move behind the net that left Norwegian goalie Henrik Holm without a chance. Gregory Hofmann made it 3-0 at 49 minutes of play. The Norwegian goal was scored by Tobias Lindström with two minutes remaining of the game.
After playing the four lowest seeded teams games against Sweden, Russia and Czech Republic are now ahead for Switzerland. Norway's upcoming games against Austria and Italy are important to avoid the risk of relegation.
