Once again Färjestad wins a final at home ice after a good start to the game.

Färjestad now leads the final versus Skellefteå with 2-1. In today's game Färjestad started very well and had 4-0 lead after 24 minutes. Skellefteå tried to come back but never come closer than 4-3 before Marius Holtet scored 5-3. "I think we made a good game, but we began to make some mistakes and then they came back into the game. Then we played a bit safe in the third, but we win and that's the most important", Holtet said after the game.

Another Norwegian, Anders Bastiansen scored two goals in the first period. The first a nice high shot from close range but the second was more lucky when the puck hit a defender to beat Hadelöv in Skellefteå's net. 22 seconds into the second period Pelle Prestberg extended the lead after a mistake by the Skellefteå defense and less than four minutes later Mattias Sjögren made it 4-0 in a open net after a nice power play.

Skellefteå come back with two goals in the second period before Jimmie Ericsson gave the game a lot of nerve 24 seconds into the third period. Skellefteå tried to come back but failed to score and instead could Holtet kill the game after weak defending once again by Skellefteå.

Färjestad now leads 2-1 and Skellefteå needs to improve their defense to win the title.
