Belfast Giants won 2-1 at Manchester Storm after a thrilling penalty shootout. After eight rounds of penalty shots were all saved, Stephen Murphy saved from Matt Caria and Mike Radja netted the winning penalty.
In Dundee three second-period goals proved crucial for Dundee Stars as they beat Fife Flyers 6-3 as Lou Dickenson netted twice.
