Metallurg Magnitogorsk won the fifth semi final against Salavat Yulaev Ufa and are now down 3-2 in the series.

Metallurg wins its second game of the series and is now only down by one (2-3) in the semi final series. Metallurg had a 4-1 lead after goals from Sergei Fedorov, Gleb Klimenko, Tomas Rolinek and Grigori Misharin but Salavat got another two goals during the last ten minutes to make the final seconds of the game interesting.
