Czech roster for Euro Hockey Challenge in Norway
Alois Hadamczik named the roster of the Czech national team for two games in Norway (Gjøvik; Apr 1,2). The Czech team flies into Norway without its current goaltender #1 Jakub Štěpánek. Neither Roman Červenka, Martin Škoula nor Jaromír Jágr will play yet.
Štěpánek got few days off and he will just be training in Czech Republic. "He told me he doesn’t feel up to play yet. We gave him a chance to vindicate," Hadamczik told iDnes.cz, "after the games in Norway, also Červenka and Škoula will join the team, so it means that another two men from the current roster will be cut off after defender Linhart who already left the team".
And how is the situation around Jágr, who promised his participation of upcoming World Championships in Slovakia? "He should play in about three preliminary games, but we haven’t specified yet in which concretely. We should specify it in the next days," Hadamczik said.
