All set for semi finals in DEL

Krefeld Pinguine is the last team to qualify for the semi finals after beating Hannover 5-1 in the fifth game. The other semi finals teams are DEG Metro Stars, Eisbären Berlin and Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg.

It was only one of the quarter finals in DEL that went to five games, it was Krefeld and Hannover who played the fifth and decisive game tonight. Krefeld took an early lead and added four more goals in the second period to take a comfortable 5-1 win. Denis Shvidki scored two goals.

Krefeld will now play Grizzly Adams Wolsburg who was the only team who won their quarter final 3-0 (versus Kölner Haie). In the other semi final Eisbären Berlin will play DEG Metro Stars from Düsseldorf. Eisbären won 3-1 against Ingolstadt in their quarter final while DEG defeated Adler Mannheim 3-1.
