HK Mogo wins Latvian League by beating HK Kurbads 4-2 in the finals, hammering 5-0 the rival in decisive game. It's the first title for the club estabilished last summer taking over from the defunct SMS Credit.lv, champion two seasons ago. HK Mogo is funded by the homonymous company of loans and leasing. Winner of regular season, Mogo gained a bye in playoffs quarterfinals, knocking out Zemgale (3-1 in the series) in semifinals. Second consecutive silver medal, in two partecipations, for HK Kurbads, third in the regular season but able to eliminate strong HK Liepaja, strengthened by players from Dinamo Riga, in semifinals. New club from Liepaja, estabilished last summer to replace defunct Metalurgs, finished with bronze and had his forward Bruno Zabis as Top Scorer
