JYP to the SM-Liiga Semi Finals

JYP beat Ilves in four straight games in the SM-Liiga Quarter Finals. Ässät got the must-win against Blues to stay in the competition. HIFK and Lukko won their games to tie the other two series.

Ilves Tampere

JYP Jyväskylä

JYP qualified as the first team to the Finnish semis. The last game against Ilves was won 4-2 with goals from Antti Virtanen, Miika Lahti, Juha-Pekka Hytönen and Ossi Louhivaara.

Espoo Blues

Porin Ässät

Blues had a 3-0 lead of the series, but in today's game Ässäst got away with the 5-1 must-win to stay in the playoffs. Tommi Huhtala scored twice. Goalie Eero Kilpeläinen made 33 saves.

Jokerit

2:3 OT

HIFK Helsinki

Kimmo Kuhta scored 3-2 in overtime when HIFK tied the series against Jokerit. HIFK had tied the game with only 28 seconds remaining.

KalPa Kuopio

2:5

Lukko Rauma

Lukko won 5-2 against KalPa to tie the series 2-2. Kurtis McLean scored 2 goals.
