As expected both Koivu and Filppula will miss the tourmanent for Finland, Visnovsky not coming for Slovakia. Johansson joining Sweden
Earlier today we reported that Mikko Koivu and Valteri Filppula participation in the Olympics was at risk due to injuries. Now it is official that Finland will have to play without the due. No official news about replacing players has been announced but rumours says KHLers Sakari Salminen and Jarkko Immonen will replace.
More bad news also for Slovakia as Lubomir Visnovsky won't travel to Sochi even if he has played some games after his recent injury.
For Team Sweden it will be Marcus Johansson from the Washington Capitals that replaces Henrik Sedin on the roster.
The men's tournament starts on Wednesday.
