Germany starts their World Juniors campaign on Tuesday with 28 players fighting for a place on the roster.
Head coach Ernst Höfner has named 28 players for the WJC camp that starts tomorrow Tuesday in Füssen. 23 of those 28 players will be selected to participate in the World Junior Championship tournament in Malmö.

Germany just managed to avoid relegation last year and is not one of the favourites. Taking a look at the odds at www.888sport.com shows that Germany second least expected team to win the tournament with an odds of 350. Germany is expected to fight with Norway to avoid relegation and according to the odds they should win it. Canada is favourites to win the title with Sweden, Russia and USA as the main contenders.
