Vienna wins in Salzburg to tie the series after a loss at home, while KAC wins in Klagenfurt.
Salzburg - Vienna 1:2 (Series tied at 2)
Someone once said: "Whoever wins on road in this series, will be the winner." And Salzburg won the last game in Vienna. But then, the team from the Austrian capital stroke back. In Mozart's town they were victorius in a match that was promising. After two minutes of play Justin DiBenedetto gives Salzburg the lead and 30 seconds later Draschkowitz is in place to tie the game. The nets then stood still until the last two minutes of the third period. Ferland beat Gracnar on a nice shot and Vienna could start celebrating.
KAC - Linz 4:2 (Series tied at 2)
The reigning champions had the lead twice in the game in Klagenfurt, though couldn't record the third win in the semifinal series. Lebler's goal from the first period was anulled by Tyler Scofield, but at the end of the second period Patrich Leahy gets Linz again up front. Last 20 minutes were demanding for René Swette in net for KAC. Hundertpfund and Lundmark made sure KAC were in the lead, when Koch scores on empty net seven second prior to the end to seal the deal.
Next games are scheduled for March 22nd (Friday) at 19:15 CET.
