The first team to qualify for the Swedish semi finals was Skellefteå AIK. They won tonight's game 4-0 over last year's champion Brynäs to win the series with the same numbers. In Örnsköldsvik MODO beat Färjestad in overtime after a strong comeback to keep the series alive.

Markus Svensson in Skellefteå's net made 32 saves to shut out the 2012 champion Brynäs and win the series with a 4-0 sweep. Viktor Arvidsson scored two of the goals. He opened the scoring at 28:49 and made it 3-0 early in the third period. Oscar Lindberg scored the second goal and Oscar Möller killed the series with 4-0 in the empty net at 56:11.
Brynäs was not close to Skellefteå in any of the four games; 5-0, 7-3, 4-1 and 4-0.

MODO Hockey - Färjestads BK

The game and the series appeared lost for MODO after a 3-0 deficit early in the second period, but after an amazing comeback Ladislav Nagy could score the winner at 5:01 of the overtime period.
The playoffs top scorer Chris Lee opened the scoring for Färjestad with his fifth goal of the series. Anders Bastiansen and Marius Holtet also scored for the visitor before MODO got their first goal. Mattias Ritola scored 1-3 at 21:44 and Kyle Cumiskey 2-3 six minutes later. In the middle of the third period Holtet scored his second goal of the game to restore the 2-goal lead but Marcel Müller replied only a minute later. MODO's equalizer came with 3:40 remaining when Jonas Ahnelöv beat Alexander Salak.
