Russia beats Finland 3-1 to win the Channel One Cup

Russia completed the home tournament with a third straight win. After 5-1 against Sweden and 6-0 against Czech Republic Russia today beat Finland 3-1.
Pavel Datsyuk had another two assists today to finish the tournament with impressing three goals and five assists in the three games.
The Finnish team managed to keep the Russian stars from scoring for almost half the game but in the middle of the second period Russia scored two quick goals. Vadim Shipachev scored 1-0 and two minutes later Yevgeny Malkin made it 2-0. Five minutes later Mikko Mäenpää used a power play to get Finland on the scoring sheet.
