Mike Weber signs for Lørenskog

Mike Weber signs for Lørenskog

16 Nov 2012 | Andreas Berge

The Buffalo Sabres-player, Mike Weber (24), signed with Lørenskog late Thursday night.

Weber has played three seasons and 132 games for Buffalo Sabres and is a typical defensive back.

- Mike have been our first choice, and he’s not gonna be too expensive for us, the director of sports in Lørenskog, Atle Olsen, says to Romerikes Blad.

Lørenskog hope to have Weber ready to play against Rosenborg at home ground next Thursday.

That makes him the third NHL-prof to sign for a Norwegian club during the lockout in NHL. The other players are Jack Skille and Deryk Engelland, who currently are playing for Rosenborg.
