The award Guldpucken goes to the best player of Elitserien and the Swedish national team during the season.

As expected the award was this season won by Jakob Silfverberg who led his team Brynäs to the gold medals in the Swedish league.

"I'm satisfied with my season", says Silfverberg to the newspaper Expressen who together with the Swedish Ice Hockey Federation names the winner. "This is a like a receipt that things have gone well this season".

Silfverberg currently plays the World Championship with Sweden. After five games he has scored one goal.
