Sweden will face USA like last two years

Sweden will face USA like last two years

USA tops Canada with Kyle Osterberg GWG and will face Sweden on Sunday in the final game.

In the second semi-final came another classic - the battle between the two north-american teams USA and Canada. It was a real tough game, there were so much hits in the first minutes of play. The game changed when J.T. Compher came to the net and scored at 10:36. The Canadians tied the game at the moment when Andrew Copp’s helmet was caught by Canadian net at this “PP” Gemel Smith redirected the puck in front of Olsson’s net. The speed was a little bit slow down in the second where there was only one interesting fact. Team USA made so many offsides when they tried to get into the offensive zone.

The game deciding goal happened in the middle of a period when Kyle Osterberg came through the net and added the puck. The USA accurately saved their lead till the final whistle.

Like last two years Sweden will face USA in the final game of the WJC. In the previous two times in Minsk and Crimmitschau the North American players were better.
