Fastest goal in Slovak Extraliga and in Europe

MsHk Zilina's forward Peter Sivak created a new record by scoring the fastest goal in Slovak Extraliga history.
In yesterday's game between Zilina - Poprad (4:3 SO) only 5 seconds were enough to score a goal for home team. Peter Sivak scored another goal and added the winning shootout goal.
The previous record was held by Lukas Riha. He scored after 7 seconds October 7 2007 in the Nitra - Martin (0:5) game. Scoring this goal Peter Sivak equalized another world fastest goal records.
According to Guiness world record book and IIHF Statistics listed as fastest goals are Alexander Mogylnyi (Buffalo Sabres, 1991), Doug Smail (Winnipeg Jets, 1981) and Bryan Trottier, New York Islanders, 1984) all scored after 5 seconds. In Europe the record was held by Magnus Wernblom (MoDo, 2000), who scored goal after 6 seconds.
In another of yesterday’s games HC Kosice beat HC Slovan Bratislava. It was a game between two top teams. HC Slovan Bratislava was in lead but in the dramatic final 10 minutes HC Kosice grabbed a deserved win and remains the first.
