Salavat Yulaev extended their winning streak with a 5-3 victory over Avtomobilist. The game was held in front of 6,521 fans and showcased an intense back-and-forth battle between the two sides.
Salavat Yulaev struck first, with Joshua Leivo opening the scoring midway through the first period. However, Avtomobilist responded quickly, as Nick Merkley netted an equalizer just 45 seconds later. The teams ended the first period tied 1-1, with both goalies standing firm.
The second period saw Salavat Yulaev take control, especially on the power play. Just 19 seconds into a man advantage, Alexander Sharov found the back of the net to put Ufa back in the lead. Despite several penalties throughout the period, Salavat Yulaev capitalized on another power play late in the frame. Sharov assisted Alexander Khmelevsky, making it 3-1 before heading into the final period.
The third period continued the scoring frenzy, with Salavat Yulaev's captain, Grigory Panin, extending the lead to 4-1 early on. Avtomobilist attempted a comeback with a goal from Danil Romantsev, cutting the deficit to 4-2. However, Ufa responded quickly as Sharov netted his second goal of the game. Stefan Da Costa's late goal for Avtomobilist narrowed the score to 5-3, but Salavat Yulaev's solid defense held strong in the closing minutes.
