Torpedo took an early lead thanks to Sergei Goncharuk's goal at 7:56, assisted by Kirill Kirsanov. The home team displayed dominance in physical play, outshooting Avtomobilist 11-7. Both teams traded penalties throughout the period, but Torpedo managed to control the pace and went into the first intermission with a 1-0 lead.
Torpedo extended their lead at 36:23 with Kirill Voronin's goal, assisted by Andrei Belevich. Despite being evenly matched in faceoffs and blocked shots, Torpedo outplayed Avtomobilist in puck possession and capitalized on their opportunities. Torpedo's defense, led by Ivan Bochevarov in goal, kept Avtomobilist from finding the net, making crucial saves to preserve the 2-0 scoreline by the end of the second.
Avtomobilist responded early in the third period when Danil Romanov scored at 41:23, assisted by Artem Kashtanov and Maxim Denezhkin, narrowing the score to 2-1. However, Torpedo quickly regained their two-goal lead after Denis Yan scored at 52:18, with assists from Voronin and Anton Silaev. Avtomobilist pulled their goalie late in the period to push for an equalizer, but Torpedo held on, securing the 3-1 win.
