Amur opened the scoring just 1:41 into the game when Vyacheslav Gretsky found the back of the net, assisted by Evgeny Grachev. Barys struggled to gain momentum, and despite keeping pace in shots, Amur doubled their lead in the 16th minute. Cameron Lee's point shot deflected past Barys' goaltender Nikita Boyarkin, extending the lead to 2-0.
The second period saw Barys facing further difficulties as they fell behind even more. Despite Barys winning more faceoffs and showing some offensive pressure, Amur's Kirill Slepts made it 3-0 midway through the period, capitalizing on a defensive mistake by Barys' defenseman Will Butcher. Moments later, Amur's Devin Brosseau broke free for a one-on-one against Boyarkin and added a fourth goal, putting the game firmly out of Barys' reach by the end of the second period.
Barys finally responded in the third period with Kirill Panyukov scoring their only goal at 49:53. Despite this, Amur quickly regained control, and Alexander Galchenyuk scored their fifth and final goal on a power play, sealing a dominant win for the visiting team.
