In this exciting KHL regular-season matchup, Severstal emerged victorious over Kunlun Red Star with a 4-2 win. The game saw an intense back-and-forth battle, with both teams exchanging blows until Severstal managed to pull ahead in the final period.
The game started with Kunlun Red Star taking the lead in the 1st period, with Nail Yakupov scoring on a power play at 16:21. Severstal, however, equalized in the 2nd period through Andrey Churkin's goal at 32:52 and then took the lead just before the end of the period, as Ruslan Abrosimov netted a goal at 39:59.
In the final period, Kunlun's Spencer Foo tied the game at 55:26, but Severstal quickly responded with a goal from Alexander Skorenov at 56:15. In the last moments of the game, Kirill Pilipenko sealed Severstal's victory with an empty-net goal at 58:45.
