Admiral opened the scoring early in the first period with Pavel Shen finding the back of the net. However, CSKA quickly responded, taking advantage of an Admiral penalty. Vitaly Abramov scored on the power play, tying the game at 1-1.
Maxim Sorkin gave CSKA a 2-1 early in the second period, also capitalizing on a power play. CSKA extended their lead with Ruslan Iskhakov scoring in even strength, his first KHL point. Admiral narrowed the gap to 3-2 when Libor Sulak scored on a power play, but CSKA remained in control.
The third period saw CSKA pull away. Abramov scored his second goal, and Sorkin added two more to complete a dominant performance. Despite Admirals' efforts, CSKA's defense and offense proved too strong, and the home team secured a 6-2 victory.
