In a hard-fought match at Arena Balashikha, Vityaz defeated Amur 2-0, earning their first victory of the KHL season. Derek Barach opened the scoring in the second period, capitalizing on a power-play opportunity, while goaltender Maksim Dorozhko made 29 saves to secure the shutout. Amur pushed for an equalizer, but Yegor Morozov sealed the win with an empty-net goal in the final seconds. Despite Amur's efforts and numerous chances, they struggled to find the back of the net, suffering their second consecutive loss.
