Game recap

Coventry Blaze made it a six-point week with their third victory in five nights as they shut out Fife Flyers 5-0.

The last time these sides met in Coventry, the sides were scoreless through 65 minutes. This time, it needed over half an hour of game time before the deadlock was broken. Brady Norrish put the hosts ahead at 31:56, while under two minutes later the Blaze were two up through Marly Quince pouncing on a loose puck in front of Shane Owen.

Nathanael Halbert's speculative shot deflected past Owen off a Flyers' stick 22 seconds into period three to put the home side into a comfortable lead. John Curran and Halbert again both scored before the final buzzer to give Coventry, in their iconic retro jerseys, a five-goal win.

Paavo Hölsä recorded a 24-shot shutout.
