Game recap

Three goals in five second-period minutes were enough to see Guildford Flames beat Dundee Stars 4-2 on Sunday night.

Daniel Tedesco, who got the Flames' overtime winner in Fife some 22 hours earlier, put the home side ahead with 4:08 played but that game remained tight into the first intermission.

Dundee started well in period two and were deservedly level thanks to Toms Rutkis at 23:59, and could have gone ahead were it not for Taz Burman in the Flames' net. The visitors were undone by three goals in just over five minutes which swung the game. Owen Griffiths finished a fast move from a Robert Lachowicz pass at 31:28, while Ian McNulty batted home a bouncing puck from Peter Crinella's shot at 32:09 to put the Flames 3-1 up. Brett Ferguson made it four with 3:09 left in the period.

Elijah Barriga hit a response for the Stars with 11:50 to play, but that was as much as they could put past Burman with the Flames making it a four-point weekend.
