Glasgow’s search for their first win in Guildford continues after they were tied late on by the Flames and then beaten in overtime.
In a low-scoring game the Clan took the lead in the opening period, earl on – 5:30 into the game when some nice passing set up Guillaume Doucet for the slapshot on the powerplay.
That lead held until late in the third period when the Flames would eventually draw level – Jordan Apt with a rocket after Kevin King won the faceoff for 1-1 at 54:11.
In overtime the Flames then went on to take the win – some nice interchange setting up Ian Watters for the game-winner at 63:39.
