Finland’s golden goal

(05 Jan 2014, 22:25) | Not many people picked them to even win a medal, but the Finnish national junior team did more than that -- they beat host Sweden 3-2 in overtime to win their first World Junior Championship since 1998. Rasmus Ristolainen scored a beautiful goal to win it, while tournament scoring leader Teuvo Teräväinen assisted on all three of his team's goals.  Read more»

Bronze medals to Russia

Germany stays in top group with win over Norway

(05 Jan 2014, 15:25) | After losing the first game of their relegation series against Norway, Germany stormed back to win two in a row, including a 3-1 decision on Sunday, securing their place in next year's top group in Canada. With the loss, Norway is relegated to Division 1. Read more»

Hard-earned win for Sweden

Four years ago

(04 Jan 2014, 12:41) | Sweden and Russia will play today’s first semi final of the World Junior Championship. The very first time the 1994 teams of those two countries faced each other was in February 2010 in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic. Six Russian and nine Swedish players from that game are also here in Malmö four years later. Read more»
