Malmö Redhawks have signed former NHL star Peter Mueller, the club announced a couple of minutes ago at their website. -"I have high expectations for upcoming season," Peter Mueller says.
Malmö continues to recruit great players. Derek Meech, TJ. Galiardi, Ken McDonell, Andreas Thuresson and now Peter Mueller. One thing we can be certain of, is that Redhawks wants to stay in SHL.
Peter Mueller is currently coming from Kloten Flyers in the Swiss League and the contract is signed for a year. Mueller have 297 games and 160 points from his NHL career and he will definitely be an interesting force for the newcomers.
-"It's a great talented player with an extreme amount of hockey in him," Malmö's head coach Björn Hellkvist said to malmoredhawks.com.
Peter himself is happy to be in Sweden: -"I have high expectations for upcoming season. I've been talking to a couple of guys, about playing in Sweden and I've heard only great things. I already know a couple of guys from my time in NHL and some others I've met in international games. I look forward to get out on the ice and meet everyone," Peter said.
