Skellefteå AIK signed AHL-Forward
Skellefteå AIK has signed AHL-Forward Terry Broadhurst, 26, the club announced today. -"He's going to fit right in to our gameplay," Lars Johansson, General Manager, Skellefteå AIK said to Skellefteå's web site.
Swedish Hockey Leagues Skellefteå AIK announced today that they have signed Terry Broadhurst, 26, to a one-year contract. Terry is currently coming from Chicago Wolves in the AHL, where he have had a great season.
Terry Broadhurst signed with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2012 and was assigned to Rockford IceHogs, where he spent three years and recorded a total of 59 points in 112 games. Broadhurst went on playing for Chicago Wolves and developed further and last season he had reached a total of 26 points in 58 games, divided in 8 goals and 18 assists.
Terry is a small player, but back his size up with a smart play. He plays a well-rounded game and has a solid two-way ability. Lars Johansson, General Manager, Skellefteå AIK is happy that they have caught a player of Terry's caliber: -"Terry is a strong skater, a skilled and an irrational player that will fit right in to our gameplay," he said to skellefteaaik.se.
Broadhurst will unite with the team in the end of July.
