The fifth semi final game between Skellefteå and Luleå was the first that didn't went to overtime when Skellefteå won 2-0.

But just as the earlier games the scoring was very even and the 2-0 goal wasn't scored before 15 seconds remained of the game when Jimmie Ericsson scored on the empty net. Skellefteå started the game very well and had 16-3 in shots on goal in the first period. But despite the heavy pressure Skellefteå only scored one goal, Anders Söderberg scored when Luleå left him all alone in front of goal.

In the second period Luleå came back into the game but despite some good chances they failed to score and Andreas Hadelöv did well to earn the shutout. Skellefteå now has the chance to win the series away on Thursday.
