Zug wins in overtime to eliminate Geneve from the NLA playoffs

Damien Brunner scored the winning goal at 12:25 of the overtime period when Zug beat Geneve to advance to the semi finals.

The game started great for Zug who had a 3-0 lead after 15 minutes on goals by Fabian Schnyder, Sven Lindemann and Schnyder again. The teams scored a goal each in the second period. First Tony Salmelainen for Geneve and then Corsin Casutt for Zug.

In the third period Geneve managed to win 3-0 to get an overtime period. Flurin Randegger and Juraj Simek scored 4-2 and 4-3. Brian Pothier tied the game at 58:59 when Geneve had a power-play and had pulled the goalie Tobias Stephan.

Damien Brunner scored the goal that brought Zug to the semi finals at 72:25 assisted by Fabian Schneider.
