Davos and Bern one game from the NLA semis

Both Davos and Bern won their home games today to take 3-0 leads in the Quarter Final series of Swiss Nationalliga A. Kloten and Zug take 2-1 leads in their series.

HC Davos

HC Fribourg-Gottéron

Davos embarrased Fribourg in the third game - 7-0. Janick Steinmann scored three of the goals. The rest were scored by Dario Bürgler, Tim Ramholt, Sandro Rizzi and Lee Jinman. Leonardi Genoni guarded the home net.

SC Bern

SC Langnau Tigers

Bern had no problem to defeat Langnau 5-0 for the 3-0 series lead. Martin Plüss scored 2-1. Ivo Rüthemann, Etienne Froidevaux and Simon Gamache got a goal each. Ryan Gardner had 3 assists. Marco Bührer earned the shutout in the Bern net.

EHC Kloten Flyers

4:3 OT

Zürich SC Lions

The game between Kloten and Zürich had to be decided in overtime. Tommy Santala was the lucky winner who scored 4-3 for Kloten only 18 seconds into the overtime. Micki Dupont scored twice for Kloten and Patrick von Gunten once.

EV Zug

3:1

HC Genéve-Servette

Zug takes a 2-1 lead of the series after today's 3-1 win over Geneve. Raphael Diaz, Glen Metropolit amd Corsin Casutt scored the goals.
