First 2011 NLA playoffs games

The Swiss Nationalliga A quarter finals started today with wins for Davos, Kloten, Bern and Genève.

 
 
 
 
HC Davos 4:1 HC Fribourg-Gottéron
The regular season winner Davos won quarter final number one 4-1 against Fribourg at home. Dario Bürgler opened the scoring and Marc Wieser made it 2-0. With just over half the game played Fribourg´s Romain Loeffel scored his team´s only goal of the night. Jaroslav Bednar scored 3-1 amd Dario Bürgler got his second goal of the night when he made it 4-1 with ten minutes remaining.

EHC Kloten Flyers 2:1 Zürich SC Lions
Kloten got away with a 2-1 win over ZSC Lions in Kolping Arena.Victor Stanescu and Mark Bell scored for the home team. Lions´ goal was made by Mathias Seger.

SC Bern 3:1 SC Langnau Tigers
Simon Gamache scored two of the goals when Bern beat SCL Tigers 3-1. Pascal Berger also scored for the host. Ryan Gardner assisted on all three goals. Simon Moser scored Langnau´s 3-1 goal with ten minutes remaining and his team could never catch up.

EV Zug 5:8 HC Genéve-Servette
the game between Zug and Genéve saw more goals than the other three games together. The guests left the arena as winners. Eric Walsky scored three of the goals for the winning side. Richard Park got 2 and Daniel Rubin, Paul Savary and Brian Pothier one goal each. Corsin Casutt (2), Björn Christen (2) and Raphael Diaz scored Zug´s goals.
