European Trophy starts with a win for Sparta

Last night the first game of European Trophy was played. HC Sparta Praha beat fellow Czechs Pirati Chomutov 6-1.
The tournament with 32 European top teams opened last night with a comfortable win for Sparta Praha. The game against Pirati Chomutov ended 1-6 (0-1, 2-1, 0-3) in SD Arena.
Petr Kumstat opened the scoring of the 2013 European Trophy when he beat Miroslav Hanuljak in Chomutov's net at 06:11. Lukas Pech, Jan Buchtele, Daniel Pribyl, Tomas Rolinek and Jan Piskacek also scored for the visitors. Petr Mainer got Chomutov's only goal for 1-3.
European Trophy continues on Friday with the games HC Slovan Bratislava - UPC Vienna Capitals and EV Zug - ZSC Lions.
