Spengler Cup semi finals

SKA St. Petersburg and Team Canada will play the Spengler Cup final. In the first semi final SKA beat Geneve-Servette 4-3 in overtime. Team Canada knocked out the host Davos with a 4-0 win.
Geneve-Servette failed to beat SKA St. Petersburg even if they got the perfect start of the game. Richard Park, Jeff Toms and Thomas Deruns scored in the first period to gain a 3-0 lead. In the second period it was the Russian team's turn to score three goals. Johan Fransson, Denis Denisov and Tony Mårtensson all beat Tobias Stephan in the Servette net. The third period was scoreless and Anton But got the game winner for the Russians at 62:37.
Team Canada had no problem to get past Davos. 4-0 was the final score after goals by Josh Holden, Mark Bell, Jean-Pierre Vigier and Pascal Pelletier. the Canadian team consists of players from the Swiss Nationalliga.
The final between SKA St. Petersburg and Team Canada will be played tomorrow.
