Vålerenga where down by five goals, but managed to turn the game around and win by 6-5 after sudden death.
Sparta was up 5-0 after 36 minutes on Saturday. But that still wasn’t enough to beat Vålerenga. With two shorthanded goals late in the second period and three goals in the third period Vålerenga came back in the game. Just 21 seconds into the sudden death Erik Follestad Johansen and Vålerenga scored again and finished an extraordinaire comeback winning 6-5.
Stjernen visited Tønsberg in the bottom settlement on Sunday. Stjernen started of strong with leading 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2, but Tønsberg always came back. In the second period Tønsbergs star of the game, David Hallström (He is also all-time point picker for Tønsberg), scored three goals and Tønsberg was up by 6-3 before the last period. And with two fast goals in the last period Tønsberg ended up winning 8-4 and changed place with Stjernen on the ladder.
In the other games Stavanger continues winning and climbed to second place after a 4-1 victory away against Rosenborg, while Lørenskog won 6-5 against Storhamar after sudden death. In the last game this weekend Lillehammer won 5-2 against Frisk Asker at home ground.
