Both groups at IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia have a dominator. Malay star Kin Ban Loke scores six goal against India
Kuwait - UAE 0-6 (0-4,0-0.0-2)Both teams come to face-to face game with perfect record and in high spirits but a very productive first period by UAE (4 goals with 9 shots) and an hattrick by Saeed Alnuaimi soon decided the result in favour of Yuri Faikov team. Despite the result Kuwait goalie Jasem Al Sarraf stopping 31 shots earns MVP title for his team.
Malaysia - India 13-2 (6-2 3-0,4-0)India doesn't repeat the good performance in the opening game and is destroyed by a solid Malaysia. Home team gives opponent's an hard time just for 15 minutes in the first period and even opens the score with Amit Belwal, but Malaysia is at another level and its star Kin Ban Loke totally dominates the game, scoring 6 goals supporting his nomination for tournament's MVP.
Thailand - Taipei 14-0 (2-0,6-0,6-0)26 goals suffered in two matches: Taipei campaign is the worst until now, really a negative surprise. Against Thailand the match was balanced just in first period: Taipei shots just 12 times and Thai goalie Prawes Kaewjeen has a quite night. His collegue Ning-ya Yang was bombarded by Thai forwards and close his performance with 62 saves. Special mention for Tewin Chartsuwan (5 goals and one assist) and his line-mate Teerasak Rattanachot, 3 goals and 3 assists. Curious record for Thay MVP Phongphan Krongsakunsuk : he scores in his only shot on goal
