Game recap

Glasgow Clan won their third game in a row with a 6-1 thrashing of Dundee at Braehead Arena on Friday night, their first win over the Stars since March.

The opening 20 minutes ended goalless despite 17 shots on goal, but things well and truly got going in the second. John Dunbar skated through to slot past Anton Svensson 75 seconds into the period to put Clan ahead, and a little over 10 minutes later Craig Peacock poked home a rebound close to the net to make it 2-0. Dunbar's second of the game put the hosts three up at 32:25 before Roman Semjonovs got Dundee on the board with 42 seconds left in the period on the powerplay after Clan had killed off four minutes of Jake Bolton penalties shortly before.

Any chances of a Stars comeback were effectively wiped out by Steven McParland converting Jordan Cownie's cross-slot pass 90 seconds into the third, with Kevin Massy firing home just under two minutes later. Peacock capped an excellent night for himself with Clan's sixth of the night, and his fourth point of the evening.
