Game recap

A well-contested battle at the Guildford Spectrum saw the Flames run out 4-2 winners over Fife, ending the Flyers' four-game unbeaten run.

A Jamie Crooks goal with 8:17 played opened the scoring in this game, but a smart finish from Sam Jones on an odd-man rush levelled the for Flyers with 15:57 played in the opening period. Calle Ackered put the Flames back in the lead 54 seconds into period two, but it was Chase Schaber coming in at the back post who draw Fife Level at 28:47. Guildford took the lead for the third time however when John Dunbar's patient pass allowed Kruise Reddick to fire home at 34:27.

That looked to be the last goal of the game, but as Fife gambled to try and earn themselves at least a point, John Dunbar found the empty net with 1:38 left to play to give the Flames a 4-2 win.
