Goals and assists
Guildford came from two goals down to force overtime and then take the extra point in Glasgow, ending the Clan’s winning run and moving themselves on to two in a row.
Guillaume Doucet put the home side ahead with 2:30 left in the opening period, and then Brendan Connolly doubled the lead 1:39 into period two – two goals in just over four minutes of game time for the Clan.
Ben Davis kept up his good scoring run over the weekend to bring the Flames back into things at 25:27, but it took until almost the end of the period for the game to be tied up – Jez Lundin the man finding the net for the visitors.
Despite 19 shots on goal in total in the third period, neither team would find a breakthrough and got a point each for the game going to overtime. 3:14 into the extra period Ian Watters won the game for the Flames, who go three points behind their hosts from tonight.
