Metallurg Magnitogorsk and Ak Bars Kazan both won away to higher ranked teams to take 2-0 leads in their KHL Quarter Final series.

4-3 at 3:29 of the overtime. Omsk had a 2-0 lead after 6:19 and a 3-2 lead for the larger part of the third period, but the away team can travel home with a 2-0 lead in the series.
