All set for semi finals in Austria

Red Bulls Salzburg, VSV Villach and KAC Klagenfurt all win their quarter finals series 4-1 and advance to the semi finals. Mattias Trattnig (picture) was the hero for Salzburg in the longest ever overtime in league history.
After refusing to play the away game on Sunday the Red Bulls Salzburg defeated Olimpija Ljubljana at home 3-2 after overtime. The game winning goal was scored after 95:28 making it the longest game ever in the Austrian Eishockey Liga.
Klagenfurt also needed overtime to defeat KHL Medvescak Zagreb. The Croatian underdogs were close to a surprise away to the league winners and had the lead 4-2, Klagenfurt turned the game around but with five seconds left Robby Sandrock took the game to overtime. Seven minutes into the overtime Tyler Scofield scored the winner for KAC.
In Villach 4000 spectators watched the home team win 5-2 against Linz. Nico Toff scored two goals and one assist and Roland Kaspitz made three assists when VSV advanced to the semi finals.
All non Austrian teams are now eliminated and the semi finals will be played KAC - VSV and Red Bulls - Vienna Capitals.
