All set for Danish semi finals

The Quarter Final group stage of Danish AL-Bank Ligaen has ended. SønderjyskE, Rødovre, Herning and Frederikshavn are the four semi final teams.
The Quarter Final group stage was played in two pools. SønderjyskE, Rødovre and AaB in Pool A and Herning, Frederikshavn and Hvidovre in Pool B. All teams played each other home and away and the two best teams of each pool would qualify for the Semi Finals. SønderjyskE and Herning was the best placed teams in the Regular Season and earned three bonus points. AaB and Frederikshavn brought one bonus point to the standings.
Pool A was the closest one. SønderjyskE won it with 3 wins and a loss but the battle for the second semi final spot was open till the last day. AaB would get it if they beat SønderjyskE at home in the last game but they failed and lost 3-2 to take Rødovre to the semis.
Pool B was easily won by Herning at 15 points. Frederikshavn won both games against Hvidovre and got 7 points. Hvidovre lost all four games and ended up on 0 points.
The Semi Finals start on Friday with the games SønderjyskE-Frederikshavn and Herning-Rødovre.
