Icebox – Hockey Meets the Ring

According to the server hockeypravda.ru the special boxing event will take place in Riga, Latvia. The group of businessmen is preparing a boxing competition of the best NHL, KHL and Elitserien hockey fighters. In the ring; wearing boxing-gloves and with boxing-referees.

The date of the competition and exact list of fighters weren’t published yet, it is still unsure if the event will be already held, but it looks like very interesting idea. Hockey-people around the world loves one-on-one battles on the ice, and there should be the best of the bests and the promoters expect that the competition will designate the really best fighter of the ice rinks.

About viability of the action will enact particularly possibility of health-insurance of the hockeyists and interest between the hockey-fighters themselves. For example, the notions are saying that Raitis Ivans – one of the best Latvian hockey players and also a very good NHL fighter is interested in promoting the event.

There are lots of questions and too little answers regarding the Icebox competition, let’s be surprised how it will end up.
