Kostitsyn happy to join Avangard and the KHL

The Belarus forward is happy to change Nashville in the NHL for the KHL.

 
 
 
 

Belarussian forward Sergey Kostitsyn is pleased to join Avangard Omsk (KHL) and said he is happy to change NHL for Russia.

“In Omsk everything all as last season",  he said in interview with Soviet Sport. "Yes, some players left, but at the same time the there are some new guys and the backbone of the team survived. Omsk is riding with joy. If it were otherwise, I would not come”.

Sergey Kostitsyn spend last season in Nashville but was put on the unconditional waivers and signed contract with Avangard Omsk in the KHL instead.
