Finally a win for Norway

Norway had lost all games in the World Junior Championship but in the last game against Germany they finally got a win. Both teams are however relegated anyway. Czech Republic also beat Slovakia 5-2 in the Relegation Round. Switzerland beat Finland in the game for the 5h place.
Finland and Switzerland lost their quarter finals of the WJC and got to play a game to decide which team ends up 5th and which will be 6th. Switzerland got the higher position after
3-2 in a shoot-out win.
Finland needed only 22 seconds to take the lead but Switzerland replied in the third minute. With teo minutes remaining of the opening period Finland regained the lead when Erik Haula scored shorthanded. Luca Camperchioli tied it again 5 minuts into the middle act. The game didn't see any more goals and it had to be decided in a shoot-out. Switzerland's Yannick Herren was the only successful scorer there.
Norway finally got a win after 5 losses. Germany was beaten
3-1 to give Norway the 9th place in the tournament. Germany finished last and both teams are relegated to Division 1. Germany's
Tom Kühnhackl was disappointed: "We worked hard, in the last period we hit the post and had plenty of scoring chances, but we lost", he says to Eurohockey.com
Czech Rebublic beat Slovakia
5-2 to finish in a 7th place.
